After I listened to One More Light, I had a disturbing thought. Something was off, and I thought, someone's gonna die. What makes it more disturbing is I thought you were going to die.
I told myself I was overreacting to the change in sound. I created stupid scenarios because I couldn't imagine Linkin Park without each other.
If you were going to die, Mike was going to die, too because someone shot both of you. If you were going to die, you were going to die with the band in a tour bus crash. You weren't going to die alone.
I should have said something. I should have listened to that thought. I didn't because I told myself it was stupid of
Well, I did my homework, and now I have nothing to do.
Mike: Nightingale, Chickadee, Magpie, Mourning Dove, American Woodcock, Red-crowned Crane, or Japanese Skylark
Dave: (Obviously) Phoenix or Anhinga
Brad: Heron or Indigo Bunting
Rob: Sage Thrashere or Red-breasted Sapsucker, hummingbird
Joe: Steller's Jay, Cock-of-the-Rock, or Raggiana Bird-of-Paraidise
Chester: Greater Antillean Grackle, Bald Eagle
And just for fun, Talinda would be a Woodhouse's Scrub Jay.

Seven Months Without Chester Bennington
Dear Chester (assuming there is Internet in Heaven),
Usually, I would talk about how much I miss you, but something has been eating at me for the past month. Something that is scary because it's as if my worst fear wants to come true.
It concerns Mike. 20 days ago, a Deviant shared the links to two Twitter posts with me because they scared her. Nineteen days ago, I read them. They were mean posts. They said...terrible things about Mike that I don't want to talk about. When I first read them, I felt like I couldn't breathe, so I took my rescue inhaler (I have asthma). I never thought there were people who would wish death upon your f

(Don't look. It's mean. A Deviant shared it because it scared her.)
Breathe. Breathe. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Everyone's entitled---screw it!
Whether you know it or not, you indirectly told Mike that Chaz was never a gift and should kill himself! Not cool. NOT cool!
You NEVER tell someone to do that, even if it is insincere!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to learn about Ernest Hemingway!
UPDATE: The Deviant corrected my statement. Turns out, the mean person who posted that said Mike was never a gift and should be t

1. I agree. This is pure, raw Mike Shinoda, and he has so much courage to share it.
2. Every time Mike Posts something on Instagram, it's my reminder he's alive. No matter how many times you tell me he's okay, I will always imagine Mike sitting on the floor in his bathroom. I will always imagine him holding a razor, ready to slit his wrists at any given moment.
It's a playlist I just made to help me cope with this loss:
1. "Into the Light" by In This Moment
2. "Forgiven" by Within Temptation
3. "One More Light" by Linkin Park
4. "Leave Out All The Rest" by Linkin Park
5. "POWERLESS" by Linkin Park
6. "I'LL BE GONE" by Linkin Park
7. "ROADS UNTRAVELED" by Linkin Park
(He wouldn't want us to cry... :cries: )
8. "My Immortal" by Evanescence
9. "Swimming Home" by Evanescence
10. "Frozen" by Within Temptation
11. "11:11" by In This Moment
12. "Untitled" by Simple Plan
13. "Balloons" by MandoPony
14. "If You're Reading This" by Tim McGraw

Linkin Park - Guilty All The Same
LINKIN PARK - GUILTY ALL THE SAME
Written on the 12th of March 2014 and eddited on the 3rd of June 2014
I am a huge Linkin Park fan and their new song Guilty all the same
easily became an interesting topic for me. What do I think?
First of all, it is definitley different from what we are used to hear from them recently. It is heavier and there is a long instrumental intro. That’s the first thing that bothered me when I first heard it. Im not used to long instrumental intros in songs and to be honest I don’t really like them. I prefer to hear the lyrics - the most important aspect in music for me, the reason I listen to a song,
If I
Stand up and say what I need to tell
say that they need to break from the shell
Give them words that they all know well
Will it matter if the world’s in hell?
I’ve seen so many people just leave
Walk away from all the death and debris
When life seems to consume us with misery
I will open my mind and I will be free
I know behind my failure is some success
so lets give all this constant war a rest
You can’t tell me who to change within
saying the same thoughts, again and again
Linkin Park's Changes in Musical Direction by Owl-Eye-2010, journal
Linkin Park's Changes in Musical Direction
Note: The following is an analysis and opinion of my views on Linkin Park's changes in musical direction between 2007 to 2010. If you plan on leaving comments, please be constructive and civilized in your responses. I don't want to have to deal with flamers and trollers.

When I look at reviews for Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" and "A Thousand Suns", both fans and critics tend to complain about the change in musical direction.
This bugs me since while it's true that the direction had changed in that area, I don't see many talking about what's great about the albums. I feel that in those two albums, they contain some of Linkin Park
